I figured these would be much sharper out of the box. The leading blade is dull with the edges rolled over, will have to hone before using. The two side blades have varying sharpness along the edge, will also need to be honed or sharpened before use, a bit disappointing considering the price point. I do like the no collar design and seems like it will work. Hoping to use these on turkeys this year.

I would like to start by saying that these are the most devastating broadheads I have ever used. Last year I used the rage hypodermic and had success but after the season was over I decided to try a heavy setup for this year. Bow is 60 pound draw @ 30” and arrow was total of 683 grain with 300 grain up front and a single bevel broadhead. I shot 2 deer with that setup both from within 30 yards and neither time did the arrow pass through the deer and neither time was I able to recover the deer. So I decided to switch back to my setup from last year but with these broadheads and have since taken 2 deer that didn’t make it 50 yards after each shot with a complete pass through. I even hit a turkey in the neck from 45 yards! only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because all 3 of the broadheads I shot ended up with a bent blade that wouldn’t lock so there is no chance to re use one but to me, thats a small price to pay to ensure an ethical kill.

The only reason I gave this broadhead 3 stars is the lack of getting replacement blades for the NC Extremes. $40 for 2 broadheads I shot twice, blades bent and now I can't shoot them again..come on really Rage?? I've shot a lot of deer with this brand but this is ridiculous. I'm hoping its because of covid and manufacturing/supply is backlogged. If its not, I guess I'll be finding another broadhead to shoot.
